ABOUT THE FIRM
Louis J. Cohen, APC is a small but nationally recognized plaintiff-side firm in Agoura Hills with a record of high-stakes, high-impact results. We represent whistleblowers that expose fraud against the government under the False Claims Act, and employees who have faced discrimination, retaliation, defamation or sexual harassment.
Our cases are meaningful, our team is tight-knit, and the work is never routine.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A tech-forward recent college graduate who is eager to learn litigation from the ground up. We need someone who is organized, a strong writer, genuinely comfortable with technology, AI tools, and with strong proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experienced paralegals are also encouraged to apply with compensation depending on experience ($35-$40 per hour).
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Typing speed of 60+ WPM
- Experience with or genuine interest in AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar)
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn–we will train you
EXPERIENCED APPLICANTS
- Experience with legal research (Westlaw, Lexis) and drafting tools
- Experience responding to discovery, legal research, law and motion
- Experience with Clio, legal billing software, or practice management systems
- Background in employment law, False Claims Act, or plaintiff-side litigation
- Paralegal certificate
