Trustpoint.one has partnered with a leading AmLaw 50 firm in their search for an experienced Legal Executive Assistant, with robust IP Litigation experience, to join their dynamic IP litigation practice. This hybrid role (minimum 3 days onsite) offers a unique opportunity to partner directly with high-performing attorneys at the forefront of intellectual property law.
About the Role
As a Legal Executive Assistant, you’ll be a strategic partner to several attorneys—most notably partners—by streamlining day-to-day operations so they can focus on their clients and trial strategies. From managing case-critical logistics to coordinating with firm departments and handling sensitive client communications, you’ll play a vital role in the success of high-impact patent litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative and strategic support to attorneys in a fast-paced patent litigation practice.
Serve as the attorney’s point of connection across departments, clients, and firm resources.
Coordinate complex travel, calendars, and meeting logistics with minimal supervision.
Draft, edit, and manage sensitive correspondence, presentations, reports, and client-facing documents.
Oversee trial logistics and provide on-the-ground trial team support, which may include travel.
Handle client billing, including pre-billing, budget tracking, and liaising with billing and collections teams.
Maintain electronic and physical files in compliance with firm Information Governance policies.
Exercise sound judgment with confidential matters and act as a trusted liaison to clients and business contacts.
Drive efficient team communication by preparing meeting materials and agendas and ensuring follow-up.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as an executive or legal assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department.
Must have prior experience supporting patent litigation attorneys; ITC and IPR-related work is MANDATORY for this role.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook calendar management.
Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Comfortable working in a high-performance, fast-paced environment.
Must be flexible for travel to trial when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience with AmLaw 100 firms and/or Fortune 500 clients.
