Tax Attorney
Location: Texas (Remote/Hybrid – PST Availability Required)

This is an opportunity to provide strategic tax counsel as part of a close-knit, mission-driven firm committed to excellence and personalized client service.
In this role, you will advise clients, ranging from startups to multinational corporations, on complex tax issues related to corporate transactions, international compliance, and strategic planning. You’ll work independently with the support of senior attorneys while managing your own priorities, offering clients tax-efficient solutions that align with their business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise clients on federal, state, and international tax matters, including planning, compliance, and risk mitigation.
Structure mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions with a focus on tax efficiency.
Review and draft agreements and contracts from a tax perspective.
Provide guidance on cross-border tax issues and compliance with international tax laws.
Conduct in-depth tax research and monitor legislative developments.
Collaborate with corporate attorneys on due diligence and strategic deal planning.
Assist in preparing and reviewing tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality legal support.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and an LLM in Taxation required.
Licensed to practice in Texas, California, or New York.
Minimum 5 years of legal experience with a significant focus on tax law.
Proven experience advising on corporate transactions and international tax matters.
Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state tax law and international tax compliance.
Background in accounting or finance preferred.
Proficient in Google Workspace, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and legal case/document management systems.
