We’re seeking an experienced Legal Assistant/Secretary to join our dynamic and collaborative legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside dedicated attorneys on both complex litigation and corporate counsel matters.
What You’ll Do
- Support multiple attorneys
- Assist with corporate counsel work, including:
- Drafting correspondence.
- Maintain accurate court calendaring and ensure timely filing of legal documents.
- Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, meetings, and trial logistics.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files with meticulous attention to detail.
- Interact professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a litigation legal secretary or similar role (required).
- Strong working knowledge of California Court civil litigation procedures and court calendaring required.
- Proficiency with legal software and document management systems.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
