Position Details:
Kobre & Kim LLP is seeking an experienced and motivated individual for the role of Conflicts Supervisor in the Legal Department, assisting the firm globally in researching and assessing conflicts of interest and other risk factors in support of pursuing new business opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:
Supervise and guide a team of conflicts analysts in reviewing and resolving conflict checks for new clients, matters, and lateral hires.
Oversee timely processing of conflicts searches related to new business and lateral hires.
Communicating results and facilitating clearance with internal stakeholders.
Assist with the implementation and documentation of ethical walls and screening procedures.
Communicate regularly with attorneys, practice group leaders, and the General Counsel’s Office on day-to-day as well as overall management and approach to conflicts issues and managing risk.
Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to junior team members.
Maintain and update internal procedures and best practices.
Support integration of conflicts systems used in various workflows.
Participate in special projects, audits, or initiatives involving compliance, client due diligence, and records management.
Requirements:
The desired candidate possesses or shows the aptitude to achieve the following attributes:
Bachelor’s degree required; J.D. or paralegal experience is a plus but not required.
2-5 years conflicts or compliance experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
Familiarity with conflicts of interest and law firm workflow applications (IntApp suite of products preferred).
Understanding of legal conflicts rules.
Experience using third-party data publishers to pull & interpret family tree/organizational structure information.
Judgement, analytical ability, attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience managing or mentoring junior team members is a plus.
Willingness to work closely with stakeholders across the law firm and occasional after-hours requests.
