Legal Assistant Specialist Landlord/Leasehold Enfranchisement Department

Lichfield
Salary: £24,000 to £26,000 per annum
We are working with a very well-established, small, friendly high street law firm who have had a presence in Lichfield for over 100 years and are very much part of the local community.
We are looking for an experienced legal assistant to support a busy specialist Landlord Department (Leasehold and Enfranchisement).
FULL TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN in specialist landlord/leasehold enfranchisement work.
This role would be suitable for someone who has some experience within residential conveyancing who is looking to move away from transactional work.
The role will involve:
Supporting busy fee earners
Working as a key member of the specialist Leasehold and Enfranchisement team
Liaising with clients and third-party professionals by phone, email and face to face
Drafting and typing of correspondence and legal documents
Providing administrative support to the team
Suitable candidates will have:
Previous experience as a legal assistant within conveyancing or commercial property
An interest in learning about specialist landlord/leasehold and enfranchisement work
Knowledge of land registry procedures
Experience of using the land registry portal
Excellent communication skills
This is a full-time permanent job working 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday.
