Full Job Description
We’re hiring an experienced Legal Assistant to support our busy Labor & Employment team in either our San Diego, Del Mar Heights, or Orange County locations. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and bring precision, responsiveness, and a proactive mindset to your work, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in supporting attorneys who handle Labor and Employment litigation and advisory services in both state and federal courts. Ideal candidates bring at least 7 years of experience in high-volume Labor and employment litigation and are confident handling:
Formatting pleadings, briefs, and legal correspondence
E-filing in both state and federal courts
Calendaring deadlines and court dates
Preparing expense reports and entering attorney time
Communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Supporting attorneys with a variety of work styles and preferences
Reviewing documents and adding redactions as needed
Researching and cite-checking
Reviewing and preparing documents for production
To be considered, candidates should have experience supporting attorneys in labor and employment litigation, as well as advisory matters, including leave laws, HR policies, and employment-related issues arising from mergers and acquisitions.

Competitive compensation. This role typically pays $87,000-$100,000 depending on experience. If your pay expectation is outside this range, we still encourage you to apply. Bonuses are awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance.
