Job Description:
Limited Duration: This is a full-time, limited-duration position that is grant funded through September 30, 2026. Continuation beyond that date is subject to available funding.

Office of the State Court Administrator
(OSCA) within OJD. CCPD develops, implements, manages, and evaluates civil and criminal programs for application in the state courts and for use by public and government stakeholders.

Benefits To You
We pay 95% to 99% of medical insurance premiums for full-time employees, including mental health coverage.

Position Highlights
CCPD, based in Salem, Oregon, is hiring a Treatment Court BJA RANT Analyst (Analyst 2) to join our team in the implementation of a statewide Bureau of Justice Assistance adult drug court discretionary grant program. This position will help the OSCA Treatment Court Team administer grant tasks and guide the post-implementation plan for the Risk and Needs Triage (RANT) screening tool. This tool assists adult drug court programs utilize objective referral processes and entry into Oregon’s adult drug courts consistent with the program’s established eligibility criteria.
In this role, you will collaborate with other treatment court analysts to develop and support training plans (in-person and virtual) for sessions available to OJD’s treatment courts across the state and for an all treatment courts statewide conference. You will provide logistical support to our trainers, help reserve training venues and participant accommodations, and ensure the team meets deadlines. You will also analyze business processes and recommend improvements to help the program operate more efficiently and effectively, and support the data entry and collection efforts related to the statewide treatment court case management system.
You will schedule meetings with treatment courts across the state and travel to courts to provide onsite program support. You will connect treatment court teams with available resources and answer questions about business processes. You will collaborate with a variety of justice system partners. You will help create and update model court forms for use in local programs. You will also work with our data team to ensure the RANT system captures the correct data and to bridge any gaps in data that may affect single users or the entire program’s data dashboard.
Part of your time will be spent providing administrative support to the OSCA Treatment Court Team to maintain the Treatment Court SharePoint, schedule meetings, take and distribute meeting minutes, facilitate team communication, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.

Minimum Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in business, court administration, public administration, or a related field.
AND
Two (2) years of increasingly responsible professional-level experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position.
OR
Any combination of
education and experience
equivalent to six (6) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
Note: Professional-level experience is defined as:
The ability to use independent judgment and discretion in performing work duties.
A level of specialized knowledge in the field of work with some authority for independent decision-making.
In-depth work requirements, such as data gathering, analysis and interpretation.
Interaction with a broad range of individuals.

Requested Skills and Attributes

General knowledge of treatment court policies, procedures, and processes.
Experience accomplishing work through developing collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience reviewing data, including recommending improvements and next steps.
Experience writing various reports, policies and procedures, and other documents providing analysis and recommendations.
Experience adapting or developing policies, forms, and best practices.
Experience facilitating or supporting training for adult learners, including design for creating informational materials and building online platforms (external sites and internal SharePoint pages).
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, limited-duration position, and the work schedule is currently 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per workweek.
Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required.
Frequent travel, including overnight stays, is expected for court visits and to participate in meetings, training sessions, and other events. The person in this position must be able to travel to their destination with an acceptable means of transportation.
Hybrid work is available for this position. All remote work assignments begin, end, or change only with administrative authority approval. In-person availability at our Salem office and at courts statewide is required as directed.
Frequent contact with people from diverse backgrounds.
Occasional contact with people who are angry, confused, or frustrated.
Routinely/daily: work with a wide variety of individuals including judges, court staff, technical staff, contractors, agency representatives, and the public.
Daily: plan, organize, and prioritize work demands in a limited time frame.
May be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Long periods of sitting or standing while working on a computer and looking at computer screens.
Regular use of the following equipment: telephone, OJD-assigned computer with multiple monitors, copy machine, fax machine, and scanner.
