We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant / Case Manager to support our legal team with case management, client coordination, and document preparation. The ideal candidate has experience in a law firm or legal services setting, is comfortable handling sensitive information, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and follow-through are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the lifecycle of legal cases, from intake through resolution
Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date
Draft, edit, and file legal documents, correspondence, and case summaries
Schedule and coordinate meetings, court appearances, and deadlines for attorneys
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third-party contacts
Track case progress and manage calendars to ensure all key dates are met
Assist attorneys with research, evidence gathering, and case preparation
Perform administrative tasks such as billing support, record requests, and follow-ups
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with legal procedures and standard
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Case Manager, or Paralegal
Familiarity with legal terminology and case management software
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
Experience with client intake, file management, and legal procedures
Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus depending on client base
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
