About the Role:
Pen Pioneer is seeking a mid-level Family Law Attorney on behalf of a dynamic and purpose-driven law firm in Richland, WA. This is an opportunity for an experienced attorney to step into a high-impact role supporting families through divorce, custody, support, adoption, and domestic violence matters. Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, support, and domestic violence protection.
Draft and file motions, parenting plans, settlement agreements, and other legal documents with precision.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining strong communication and empathy throughout their cases.
Collaborate with an experienced team to share insights, improve processes, and mentor junior attorneys.
Maintain a minimum of 1,500 billable hours annually, with an optional 100 hours available for pro bono work.
Required Qualifications:
3–6 years of experience in family law or litigation.
Active license with the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Spanish fluency is a strong plus but not required.
Ability to manage complex, high-emotion cases with empathy and strategic thinking.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: $130,000 – $180,000 per year (based on 1,500 billable hours).
Bonus: 35% bonus on billable hours above 1,500.
Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 available.
