Webber & Egbert Employment Law is seeking an exceptionally bright, multi-tasking, and self-motivated Legal Assistant to support its attorneys. Bring your enthusiasm and can-do attitude to this exciting, growing firm.
As a Legal Assistant, you will be a key member of our team, helping support our attorneys. Responsibilities include preparing legal documents for attorneys’ review, ensuring that all dates and deadlines are properly calendared, interacting with clients on a daily basis, word processing, performing general office tasks, and coordinating other legal and administrative matters.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to work efficiently and independently; manage high volumes of tasks and projects with little guidance; react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround; take effective action without having to know the total picture; and think creatively and be proactive in solving problems. The candidate will also be client-service oriented, have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines, have great organization skills, and have the ability to easily switch gears. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people, is essential.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not required
- Prior experience is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong written and oral communication skills are a must, as is the desire and aptitude for learning new concepts, programs, and software on the job
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Pay/Benefits
The expected pay range for this position is between $20 and $40 per hour, depending on experience.
