Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Legal Administrator to manage all legal functions within the Revenue Team. Duties of the Legal Administrator include the exercise of discretion and independent judgment concerning matters of significance including, but not necessarily limited to, the management of the entire lifecycle of the Revenue Team’s contracts and the management of Runbeck’s intellectual property portfolio in coordination with outside counsel. The ideal candidate must have familiarity with both the contracting and the patent/trademark processes; familiarity with general corporate law; CRM experience within Salesforce; and a demonstrated strong attention to detail. The successful Legal Administrator is expected to take ownership of the contracting process and ensure that all contracts, and other similar customer-facing documents, are prepared on time and with accuracy; and of the intellectual property portfolio management process and to create and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure that all necessary information is gathered from the Product Development Team in order to properly prepare future patent, trademark, and copyright applications.

Responsibilities:

The management of the entire contract lifecycle process including negotiations, drafting, implementing, compliance review, and tracking and preparing all required internal and external notices relating to contract scope, milestones, completion, termination, and related matters
The management of Runbeck’s intellectual property portfolio including the creation and drafting of internal policies and procedures to ensure that the Product Development Team properly prepares, tracks, and supplies all information and documentation needed by outside intellectual property counsel
Review internal and external proposed contract edits for potential impact to the company and provide recommendations that will be given significant weight
Ensure that all contract data in the CRM system is up-to-date and accurate
Organize, index, and maintain existing contracts
Assist in completion of special projects and initiatives on an as needed basis
Ability to work under deadlines and prioritize responsibilities with limited supervision
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
Requirements:

Key Requirements:

College degree and paralegal certificate required
3-5 years experience in a corporate or legal / paralegal environment required
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and deadline-oriented
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Demonstrates computer skills and aptitude; Microsoft Office preferred
Proficiency in Sales technology tools: Salesforce, Outreach, and Showpad
Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
Ability to work independently
Ability to maintain confidential information
Effective prioritization and time management abilities
Ability to track and report on opportunities for improvement and success
Listening effectively when others are speaking

Ability to perform and retain various skill-related tasks, training, and operations
