Trueline’s client is seeking a Hospitality and Real Estate Attorney to join their team in California. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading hospitality law practices while gaining exposure to a broad range of real estate transactions.
What You’ll Do as the Hospitality and Real Estate Associate:
Collaborate closely with partners on hotel projects worldwide, representing various stakeholders in the hospitality industry
Assist in negotiating and drafting transactional agreements for hotel ownership, franchising, and management
Perform due diligence and help close transactions related to real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, leasing, and construction
Engage in professional development opportunities within a collaborative environment
Work across multiple practice areas, including real estate, land use, corporate, tax, labor, intellectual property, and litigation
Must-Haves as the Hospitality and Real Estate Associate:
Juris Doctor degree and active California Bar admission
Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality and real estate transactional law
Prior experience working in a sophisticated law firm environment
Demonstrated knowledge of the hospitality industry
Nice-To-Haves as the Hospitality and Real Estate Associate:
Experience with international hotel projects
Familiarity with franchise and management agreements in the hospitality sector
Strong interest in real estate law and its various sub-specialties
