Young-Agriesti & Thomas, LLP (formerly known as Klatte, Budensiek & Young-Agriesti, LLP) is a growing civil litigation firm specializing in employment law. We are seeking a highly motivated attorney with a minimum of 1-3 years of civil litigation experience for our Huntington Beach office. The position will be remote, but will require flexibility to commute to the Orange County, Los Angeles and/or San Diego area for court appearances, depositions and meetings, when required.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, can work independently and function well as part of a legal team. This is a great opportunity for an attorney looking to gain litigation experience.
Duties include court appearances, organize and analyze case information, propounding and responding to written discovery, attending mediation and engaging in settlement negotiations, law and motion drafting, meeting clients, updating clients through reporting and telephone conferences about significant developments in litigation, taking and defending depositions, including experts, and all phases of trial and/or arbitration preparation. The ideal candidate must:
Be an active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
Have at least one year of litigation experience (experience in employment law is preferred, but not required).
Be able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
Have exceptional organizational skills, including time management.
Have excellent analytical, writing, and research skills.
Be able to work in a team setting.
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Benefits:
Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year (compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience).
