Overview:
We are seeking a Bilingual Legal Assistant (English/Spanish) to support our pre-litigation team and assist with day-to-day case management.
This position is ideal for a motivated professional with prior personal injury experience who thrives in a high-volume environment and takes pride in organization, accuracy, and client communication.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing pre-litigation personal injury cases from intake through demand
- Open insurance claims and communicate with insurance carriers
- Request and track medical bills and medical records
- Request documentation from insurance companies and third parties
- Screen and route incoming calls appropriately
- Request property damage estimates and supporting documentation
- Communicate with clients regarding treatment status, pain updates, and case progression
- Assist with drafting and preparing initial demand packages
- Maintain accurate case documentation and organization
- Provide general administrative and case support to the pre-litigation team
- Perform additional operational and administrative duties as assigned to support evolving business needs
Legal Assistant Requirements:
- Prior experience handling pre-litigation personal injury cases (Required)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required)
- Typing speed of 45 WPM or higher
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Detail-oriented and able to manage deadlines effectively
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
