Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Legal Adsistant to join our family law office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, supporting the lead attorney, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Manage daily office operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
Provide exceptional customer support by answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and messages effectively.
Assist in proofreading documents to ensure clarity and correctness.
Maintain organized filing systems for easy access to important documents.
Collaborate with the lead attorney to enhance office efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Previous experience as an office clerk or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and opposing counsel.
Familiarity with calendar management tools and phone systems is advantageous.
