Technical Support and Guidance
Provide technical support and guidance in developing and interpreting policy, legislative, as well as regulatory proposals for VDOT’s ITD particularly related to procurement and GA.
Legislative Analysis
Provide analysis of procurement-related legislation to ITD leadership. Serve as ITD lead during general assembly legislative sessions. Analyze impacts and provide status reports to operational areas as needed.
Coordination
Coordinate legislative briefings and debarment actions in conjunction with the Governance and Procurement Program Managers and the Office of the Attorney General. Serve as liaison to the Attorney General’s Office to resolve legal issues.
