Legal Nurse Consultant
Busy Rockville law firm has an excellent full-time opportunity as a Legal Nurse Consultant on our medical malpractice team. This position is physically located in Rockville, Maryland. Following an initial full-time 5 days per week (9am-5pm) training this position has the opportunity to work your full-time hours in 4 days per week.
Duties include:
*Analyzing/summarizing medical records
*Creating medical chronologies
*Identifying and locating medical expert witnesses
*Conducting medical research
*Attending expert witness interviews
*Working with attorney’s to prepare for trial, hearings, and on other legal matters
*Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in nursing
*Excellent understanding of medical terminology
*2+ years of litigation experience preferred
*Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
*Excellent written and oral communication skills
*Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
*Positive attitude, self-starter, detail oriented, ability to self-manage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year

Rockville, MD 20852: Relocate before starting work (Required)
