Position Overview: As an Associate Attorney at Kerns & Kastenbaum, PLC, you will play a key role in our general practice, assisting with real estate transactions, drafting wills and trusts, and being involved in civil litigation matters, including, personal injury actions, contract disputes, partition suits, and landlord-tenant disputes. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a diverse skill set to contribute to a collaborative and supportive legal environment.
Responsibilities:
Handle real estate transactions, including drafting and reviewing contracts, and facilitating closings.
Engage in civil litigation, representing clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution.
Draft wills and trusts, providing clients with comprehensive estate planning solutions.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations
Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to provide high-quality legal services to clients.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
