Do you have the skills and proven work ethic as a Legal Assistant, or similar role, with at least two years’ experience? Cesar Ornleasl Law is looking for a legal assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Essential Roles
- Coordinate and provide communication that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered
- Handle case assignments, draft documents, review case progress and determine case closure
- Help clients achieve understanding and comfort in the legal process
- Facilitate multiple case aspects (case coordination, information sharing, etc.)
- Help clients make informed decisions by acting as their advocate regarding their legal questions, suggested providers and proper documentation
- Develop effective working relations and cooperate with legal team throughout the entire case management process
- Take the extra mile and interact with clients to keep track of their progress and to ensure satisfaction
- Record cases information, complete accurately all necessary forms and produce statistical reports
- Promote quality and cost-effective interventions and outcomes
- Assess and address legal issues
- Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules, and regulations
Skills
- Outstanding knowledge of case management principles, healthcare management and insurance practices
- Effective communication skills both oral and written
- Knowledge of Office programs such as Microsoft Office, emails, faxing, and video conferencing
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge
- Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
- Compassionate in dealing with clients and teamwork skills to solve adverse or unknown hurdles
- Ability to use logic, reasoning, and previous experience to analyze, evaluate and translate situations, with this
- Talent to exercise good judgment, understand adverse situations, and make appropriate decisions
Requirements
Education and Experience
- High school Education or the equivalent required
- 2 years of Personal Injury experience (preferred but not required)
- Current case manager license, certification, or registration (preferred but not required)
- BS degree in related legal field a plus
- Proven working experience in case management requested
