Join our dynamic and collaborative legal team as we shape large-scale mixed-use real estate projects. This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with our Acquisition, Finance, Development, and Construction teams, providing expert legal guidance on high-impact projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience drafting, negotiating, and managing critical agreements, including construction contracts, easements, and financings while partnering with stakeholders to achieve business goals. This position is ideal for a proactive legal professional eager to grow in a fast-paced, close-knit environment that values teamwork and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Advise Acquisition, Finance, Development and Construction Departments in connection with the development and construction of large scale mixed-use real estate projects
Support to include the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of professional service and commercial construction agreements, easement agreements, condominium documents, ground leases, franchise agreements, and other project specific agreements
Support to include the negotiation and drafting of project related purchase and sale agreements, due diligence matters, and project financings
Assist with the coordination of corporate governance matters
Provide legal support on litigation matters
Manage and periodically update form templates and internal corporate policies
Partner with internal clients and provide sound and prompt guidance to meet business objectives
Support the General Counsel in all legal functions
Perform other duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Juris Doctor, strong academic credentials, and state bar membership
3-6 years of transactional real estate experience
Project finance experience a plus
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office/Suite, and any other software program identified as standard
Must be highly credible and trustworthy, and operate with high degree of integrity
Must hold oneself and others accountable and strive for a high level of excellence
Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to fuel growth and innovation
Must be customer-focused and results-oriented
Must want to continuously learn and develop
Exceptional oral and written communication, active listening, and organizational skills
Ability to establish strong working relationships with others in team setting
Ability to multitask and prioritize with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Self-directed and able to work independently, with minimal supervision
