Job Description: Legal Assistant

Position Summary
The Legal Associate will support advisory, transactional, litigation, and compliance functions of the Legal Department. The role demands strong academic rigor, sound legal judgment, and hands-on experience within the UAE legal and regulatory environment.
This position is suited for high-performing legal professionals with demonstrated academic excellence and has GPA greater than 3.8, and the ability to translate legal principles into practical, risk-aware solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
2. Support litigation processes by preparing case files, submissions, and documentation in court system
3. Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents.
4. Liaise with government departments, regulators, and external legal counsel as required.
5. Maintain and update legal records, case logs, and compliance registers.
6. Monitor changes in UAE laws and regulations and advise management accordingly.
7. Ensure confidentiality and uphold professional ethics in all legal matters.
Mandatory Eligibility Criteria
• Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.8 or above (mandatory requirement)
• 2 – 4 years of relevant legal experience within the UAE
• Strong working knowledge of UAE federal and local laws
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
• Proven experience in drafting bilingual (Arabic/English) legal documents
• UAE national preferred

Preferred Skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
