Job Posting: Trust & Estates Legal Assistant

Location: Los Angeles, CA-Hybrid after training period

We are seeking an experienced Trust & Estates Legal Assistant to join our Los Angeles office. This full-time, non-exempt position supports a busy practice focused on Estate Planning, Trust Administration, and Probate matters.

Requirements:

Minimum five (5) years of experience with a strong background in Estate Planning, Trust Administration, and Probate

Excellent administrative, organizational, calendaring, and follow-up skills

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and high-quality work output

Effective written and verbal communication skills

E-filing and/or probate court filing experience is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) and Adobe Pro

Familiarity with iManage or similar document management systems is preferred

Ability to take initiative and manage assignments in a timely manner

Responsibilities:

Assist with preparation of legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents

Prepare and record deeds, create binders, and manage other related documents

Print, scan, proofread, and edit legal documents with a high level of accuracy

Maintain organized files and track case progress efficiently

Manage client communications and draft professional correspondence

Collaborate with attorneys and team members while demonstrating strong independent work skills
