We are seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to help us serve business and estate planning clients with the diligence, care, and clarity that reflect our mission and values. This is an office-based position that requires you to report to our Grapevine, Texas, office a minimum of four days a week.

 

Core Responsibilities

· Support lawyers through all stages of legal matters

· Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents

· Communicate effectively with clients and coordinate meetings

· Organizing client files

· Billing and invoicing

· Conduct legal research

· Maintain strict confidentiality

· Occasional paid overtime based on workload or deadlines

· No specific billing requirement, but expected to contribute to revenue through billable and non-billable work

– Cross-train and occasionally provide back up for other tasks as needed

Qualifications

We welcome applicants with as little as one year of experience in a professional office environment. Those with prior legal assistant experience or formal training will be especially strong candidates, but we are open to training the right person. Experience in a client-facing role is also a plus.

· Emotional intelligence and professionalism in working directly with clients

· Strong organizational skills

· Excellent written communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

· Full-time position: 8 work hours per day, 5 days a week, plus an unpaid lunch break

· Salary is approximately $40,000-50,000 annually, depending on experience

· 2 weeks’ paid vacation and holidays
