Job Description:
We are looking for a full-time auditor with accounting experience who can review, audit, and prepare audits for submission to the area State commissioners. Familiarity with the foreclosure process and/or defaulted loans is preferred.
Essentials Responsibilities:
Demonstrates an understanding of basic mathematical functions.
Demonstrates the ability to read, understand and extract financial information from reports, statements, and ledgers.
Organizes legal documents, invoices, and other support documentation.
Responds quickly to inquiries and requests for additional information/documentation.
Monitors files for receipt of ratified/confirmed audit.
Meets client and state required deadlines/timeframes.
Provides status updates via email and client web-based systems.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required; College Degree preferred.
At least Two Years of Accounting/Bookkeeping/Finance or Legal experience.
Must be organized, detailed oriented and be able to set priorities, multi-task, work independently, and take responsibility for results.
Superior attention to detail required.
Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.
Ability to thrive in a high-volume, high-pressure environment.
Comfortable with basic math skills (addition and subtraction, although programmed to complete the skills for you).
Ability to read and understand legal documents.
Must have basic computer proficiency, MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
