Job Description
Our Law Firm is currently in need of a legal assistant to assist in attorney scheduling, court filings, discovery, coordinating & scheduling meetings, and case management. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience with the legal system and the capability to learn case management systems. A strong attention to detail is needed for proofreading and drafting documents. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, organized, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced office environment.
Position Overview:
Our Legal Secretary works closely with attorneys to manage case files, prepare legal documents, interact with clients, and ensure the smooth operation of daily tasks. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask efficiently. This position requires maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive client information appropriately.
Pay:
From $40,000.00 per year
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in or around the legal profession (Preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn legal management software
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Exceptional organization and time management abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
