This law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to assist a fast-paced team of legal professionals. As the Legal Assistant, you will organize calendars seamlessly, provide administrative functions such as scanning, proofreading, drafting memos and legal documents, and communicate with clients directly to assist the attorney team in legal processes. Key Responsibilities
Organize busy schedules for attorneys with direct client communication and external contacts regarding meetings, appointments, court proceedings and any ad hoc additional events.
Maintain both paper and electronic files, prepare court documents, and handle incoming and outgoing time-sensitive correspondence.
Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, memos, and letters with precision.
Work closely with attorneys to provide varied support across multiple projects. Familiarize yourself with current cases and anticipate next steps.
Monitor deadlines, client updates and requests to ensure the attorneys are privy to changes or urgent shifts.

Experienced and degreed. You possess at least two years of experience supporting a busy attorney team as a Legal Assistant.
