Title: Legal and Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all litigation matters involving the company, including coordinating with external counsel, monitoring legal proceedings, and providing strategic legal advice to protect the company's interests.
- Review and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Conduct legal research on various matters affecting Tawzea.
- Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on legal and compliance issues.
- Review and edit Tawzea, its subsidiaries, and affiliates constitutional documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations and breaches of legal guidelines and internal policies and procedures.
- Revise procedures reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
- Draft, modify and implement internal policies and procedures in relation to compliance aspects.
- Collaborate with other appropriate departments to monitor the enforcement of standards and regulations to ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations.
- Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks and identify mechanisms for mitigating such risks.
- Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training on compliance matters.
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
- Prepare reports for senior management on any compliance issues arising that impact Tawzea and Tawzea Group.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Law/Legal entity in KSA.
- Bachelor’s degree in law from a reputable university.
- Member of the Saudi Bar Association.
- Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- CME is preferable.
