Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Legal and Compliance Assistant, based in Kathmandu. The responsibility involves ensuring that the organization adheres to legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting the legal and finance teams in their operations. Additionally, providing analytical support, preparing reports, managing communications, and assisting with legal research and documentation will form part of the daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Regulatory Compliance and knowledge of relevant industry laws
- Strong Analytical Skills for reviewing and interpreting legal documents and financial data
- Effective Communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Understanding of Law, with the ability to conduct legal research and draft necessary documentation
- Basic knowledge of Finance to support compliance and reporting requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Prior experience in a legal, regulatory, or compliance role is an advantage
