Accruent is looking for an experienced individual to join its Legal team as a Legal Analyst, Contracts & Ops. This person will perform complex legal analytical, paralegal, and administrative functions requiring reasonable independent judgment and discretion in support of various aspects of Accruent’s business. This includes support for all steps of the contract lifecycle, various labor and employment matters, and company-wide compliance initiatives.

This person will also support business teams, in-house and outside legal counsel, and will have direct contact with internal stakeholders and external clients. This person will play a key role in supporting the Company’s growth by working on various documents, operational initiatives, and other contractual and administrative activities, all while ensuring corporate guidelines and ethical standards are consistently met.

This position reports directly to Accruent’s Senior Legal Counsel, Compliance, and will be remote / work from home in Brazil.

How you’ll make a difference:

Review, redline, and negotiate a variety of contracts and legal documents.

Become a subject matter expert regarding the Company’s contract management system and internal business departments, organization, policies, and procedures.

Assist with the review and analysis of legal documents and notices related to labor disputes, terminations, and workplace issues.

Conduct legal research on various labor and employment laws, regulations, and legal questions.

Support the Company’s incident reporting and investigation process.

Assist with the third-party risk management program.

Work collaboratively with in-house and outside counsel, internal stakeholders, agents, and vendors globally to resolve issues related to contract management.

Assist in managing various processes and operations related to the Legal team.

Promote our culture of continuous improvement by identifying potential process improvements and supporting projects that drive operational efficiency and streamline existing policies and processes, including the use of AI and automation.

Ensure that all assigned activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Support other related and additional responsibilities that may be required or assigned from time to time.

What you bring to the table:

College degree in a relevant field, such as law or business, required.

Paralegal training or a certificate, strongly preferred.

At least 3 years of experience in a corporate legal department or a law firm.

Experience supporting a legal department’s commercial contracts, labor and employment, and/or compliance functions, strongly preferred.

Knowledge of and experience with labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in certain regions, including North America, Brazil, EMEA, and Australia, would be beneficial.

Ability to read and write proficiently in English and Portuguese.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent research and writing skills.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.
