Stay Organized & Ahead: Calendar critical deadlines for both litigated and non-litigated matters, helping to keep our team on track and focused.
Craft Important Documents: Draft, format, and finalize pleadings, correspondence, and memoranda while honing your legal writing skills.
Manage Case Files with Precision: Organize and maintain case files, client information, and databases—your attention to detail will shine here!
Build Relationships: Communicate with opposing counsel, clients, and vendors, showcasing your strong interpersonal skills.
Assist in Discovery Preparation: Be an integral part of the discovery process by preparing requests, responses, and trial-related documents.
Keep the Team Informed: Schedule appointments and monitor calendars to ensure our attorneys and clients are always in the loop.
Support the Daily Operations: Process incoming and outgoing mail, maintain calendar events, and assist with general administrative duties.
What We’re Looking For:
Educational & Professional Background: A law firm or administrative experience along with a Paralegal Certificate is essential.
Strong Communication Skills: You should be adept at conveying information clearly and effectively.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work is crucial, as accuracy can impact case outcomes.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Word, Smokeball, Adobe, and Excel is expected; familiarity with construction law concepts, like mechanic’s liens and stop notices, will give you an edge.
