Job Responsibilities:
Medical Billing & Liens:
Request, review, and organize medical bills and records.
Follow up on outstanding medical liens and negotiate reductions when necessary.
Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and lienholders regarding billing issues.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of medical billing related to personal injury cases.
Legal Administrative Support:
Assist attorneys with case preparation by organizing medical records and lien documentation.
Maintain case files and update case management software with relevant billing information.
Draft correspondence and legal documents as needed.
Communicate with clients regarding their medical treatment and billing status.
Qualifications:
Experience in medical billing, medical collections, or lien negotiations (preferably in a legal or personal injury setting).
Familiarity with personal injury case management, medical records, and liens is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
