My client a well-known CSP, is looking for a Legal Advisor. The Advisor – Legal will support the Legal & Regulatory Team by providing legal and regulatory assistance to clients, particularly in fintech and digital assets. The role involves helping clients with licensing, regulatory compliance, and legal documentation, while managing a portfolio of regulated entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with MFSA licensing and regulatory authorisations.
- Prepare regulatory documentation and liaise with authorities.
- Support clients with ongoing compliance obligations (PSPs, EMIs, digital asset providers).
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise clients accordingly.
- Draft and review contracts and regulatory documentation.
- Provide support on corporate structuring and regulatory projects.
- Maintain client relationships and manage a portfolio of regulated clients.
Requirements
- 4+ years post-qualification legal experience.
- M.Adv, LL.D or equivalent, with a valid warrant to practice law in Malta.
- Interest or experience in regulated industries (fintech/digital assets).
- Knowledge of MFSA frameworks and AML/CFT compliance is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
