Role Description:
The Legal Advisor will provide comprehensive legal support to clients, including researching and analyzing legal issues, drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents, and preparing legal opinions and memoranda. The role involves advising on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and transactional matters, as well as supporting negotiations and assisting in the resolution of disputes. The Legal Advisor will work closely with partners and other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services, maintain case files, and contribute to internal knowledge management. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jordan, requiring regular collaboration with clients, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to analyze complex Legal Issues and provide accurate Legal Advice.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and official correspondence.
- Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, with experience advising on workplace policies, contracts, and compliance matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) or Master’s degree (LLM) from an accredited university; admission to the Jordanian Bar or eligibility for admission is preferred.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills; strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters concurrently.
- Effective communication skills in English and Arabic, both written and spoken; ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, particularly with international or cross-border matters, is an advantage.
