Report to the General Manager of Thailand, and at the same time be under the administrative management of the Legal Department of the Chinese headquarters.

The job will be mainly responsible for providing legal consultation, guidance and support regarding matters such as corporate law, trading transactions, procurement contracts, and various issues under Thai law (such as employment issues, leasing, contracts and compliance).

Job Responsibilities:

1. Draft and review various commercial agreements, including sales/customer agreements, distribution and sales representative agreements, procurement agreements, licensing and development agreements.

2. Handle various matters related to Thai corporate laws, such as corporate affairs, compliance, employment issues, local leasing and other contracts.

3. Respond promptly to the requests of internal customers and prompt the business team about relevant legal risks.

4. Liaise with government departments to handle relevant licenses and permits.

5. Communicate and coordinate across departments, identify legal issues, provide legal options/analyze possible legal solutions, and at the same time communicate and interface with external legal counsel.

6. Keep abreast of new laws, regulations and industry trends that affect the company, and assist in policy formulation and training as needed.

Job Requirements:

1. Obtain a law degree and a legal practice certificate in Thailand.

2. Have 3-5 years of legal practice experience (experience in large international law firms or the manufacturing industry).

3. The working languages are Thai and Chinese. Be able to fluently review and revise various legal-related materials such as Chinese and Thai contracts and agreements. Those who can use English as a working language are preferred.

4. Have rich work experience as a commercial lawyer and provide legal advice for a wide range of commercial and/or corporate matters.

5. Have rich experience in contract drafting and negotiation.

6. Possess excellent written, oral expression and analytical abilities. Be able to communicate complex issues in a simple way and coordinate plans to solve problems and reduce risks.

7. Be able to establish solid working relationships with other employees and business partners, while strictly adhering to legal standards.

8. Have good business judgment and strategic thinking, be flexible and interested in handling a wide variety of legal matters, so as to understand the legal implications of the company’s business strategy and provide advice on it.
