About the Role:
We are seeking a Legal Advisor to provide expert legal guidance and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract drafting, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and corporate governance. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide strategic legal solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents
Ensure company compliance with local, state, and national laws
Conduct legal research and provide recommendations on risk mitigation strategies
Liaise with external legal counsel on litigation, disputes, and regulatory matters
Assist in the development and implementation of internal legal policies and procedures
Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization
Handle intellectual property matters, including trademarks and copyrights
Provide support on employment law, vendor contracts, and data privacy policies
Represent the company in legal proceedings, if required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in handling compliance matters in [industry-specific expertise, e.g., fintech, healthcare, real estate, etc.]
Familiarity with international laws and cross-border legal transactions
Prior experience in arbitration and dispute resolution

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized university
2+ years of experience in corporate legal advisory, compliance, or a similar role
Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and intellectual property laws
Experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts and agreements
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and provide proactive legal solutions
Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools
