SUMMARY:
JHB/KZN – Legal Advisor required for reputable training company specialising in training for the Financial Services sector
POSITION INFO:
A progressive training company specialising in compliance training within the financial services sector is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Advisor to join its dynamic team.
The successful candidate will provide legal guidance and support across the organisation, ensuring compliance with current legislation, managing legal documentation, and advising on labour, commercial, and litigation matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- LLB Degree
- Minimum 5 years’ post-admission experience
- Strong knowledge of South African legislation and corporate compliance
- Excellent drafting and contract review skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical ability
- Deadline-driven with excellent organisational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure organisational compliance with current legislation and regulatory requirements
- Draft, review, and manage contracts and legal documentation
- Represent the organisation in labour, litigation, and commercial matters
- Provide legal advice regarding potential liabilities and risk exposure
- Conduct legal research and provide guidance to management as required
- Support the Legal Manager with legal and compliance initiatives
