Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Legal Administrator to support a UK-based employer with legal documentation, compliance tasks, and administrative support across the legal function. This role is ideal for a South African professional who is organised, proactive, and confident working with UK teams remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support the preparation, formatting, and filing of legal documents and contracts
- Handle correspondence with clients, courts, and third parties on behalf of the legal team
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across time zones
- Maintain accurate records of case files, deadlines, compliance registers, and legal correspondence
- Use relevant tools such as document management systems, Microsoft Office, and e-signature platforms
- Support the wider team with research, regulatory filings, and meeting preparation
- Identify opportunities to improve document workflows and legal administrative processes
Qualifications And Experience
- 2+ years of experience in legal administration, paralegal work, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple legal tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficient in document management systems and Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience working with UK-based legal environments or employers is advantageous
- Must have a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet working environment
Salary: R28,000/month | 100% Remote
