  • Location: Dearborn, MI
  • Hours: 40 hours per week

This role is a great fit for someone who is organized, dependable, and enjoys variety in their day. You’ll work closely with the Managing Partner at the office, in court, and occasionally off-site. If you like staying busy, being “on the go,” and taking ownership of your work, you’ll do well here.

Legal experience is preferred, though not required. What matters most is that you’re curious, willing to learn, and ready to grow with the firm.

What you'll do:

  • Support the Managing Partner on-site, off-site, and at multiple locations as needed
  • Help with client intake, communication, and general client support
  • Prepare, format, and proofread letters, court documents, and forms
  • Assist with discovery tasks (gathering, organizing, and tracking information)
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files
  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, track deadlines, and send reminders
  • Conduct basic legal research (we’ll train you)
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and general administrative tasks
  • Handle day-to-day office operations
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and high ethical standards

What we're looking for:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Paralegal certificate is a plus, not a requirement)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a professional, respectful demeanor
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Reliable follow-through
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, manage your time well, and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Tech-savvy: familiar with Google Drive, Microsoft Office, Adobe, Clio, or similar tools (or willing to learn)
  • Willing to work full-time in a fast-paced, mobile work environment
  • Legal experience is preferred, though not required
  • Genuine interest in law and a naturally curious, “let me figure this out” mindset
