Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support a small but busy immigration law office. The ideal candidate will work closely with our legal team, including assisting with document preparation, evidence packaging, and general office tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing, printing, and assembling evidence packages for immigration filings
Provide administrative support to Denisse and the legal team as needed
Answer incoming phone calls and relay messages professionally
Organize and maintain client files (both physical and digital)
File legal documents, correspondence, and other materials in an organized manner
Provide general administrative backup support to the legal team
Qualifications:
Prior experience in an office or legal setting preferred (immigration experience a plus)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, etc.)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Reliable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
