Intellectual Property Litigation Associate – Hybrid
Demos Consultants is searching for an IP Litigation Associate for a midsized law firm’s Manhattan office. This is a hybrid role with a salary ranging from $110,000-$170,000.
This person should have at least 3 years of IP Litigation Attorney experience. This person would ideally have experience in both trademark and patent litigation.
Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of IP litigation from inception through trial and appeal.
Work on cases involving trademark, patent, copyright, unfair competition, trade secrets, and Hatch-Waxman proceedings.
Represent clients in Federal District Courts, Circuit Courts of Appeal, State Courts, the International Trade Commission, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Conduct depositions, manage discovery processes, and make court appearances.
Build strong client relationships with direct client contact.
Collaborate with the team on research, drafting, and strategy development.
Qualifications
Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
3+ years of intellectual property litigation experience.
A science or engineering degree is beneficial but not required.
