About the Role:
This position will require heavy reading assistance consisting of reading documents aloud, editing agreements and other memoranda, typing and creating documents, legal research, and work organization and management. Responsibilities will also include traditional administrative tasks such as calendar management, phones, and data base maintenance. This position provides the unique opportunity to be exposed to sales, trading, capital markets, operations, and asset management, in a fast-paced environment of a worldwide company.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree with a strong GPA
Need to have experience supporting an attorney with legal research, documentation, scheduling etc.
Experience working in corporate legal department, law firm, financial services, consulting, technology firm or related industry
Strong Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) experience
Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, exceptional verbal communication and listening skills
Knowledge of legal customs and practices
Project administration skills
Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry
Job Responsibilities:
