Law firm in Nassau County seeks a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their firm. Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a legal setting/law firm and at least 6 months of litigation experience. Strong administrative & tech skills are required!
Hybrid 4 days on-site, 1 day remote after training
Salary range: 60k – 75k base + OT
Hours: 9am – 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Support three attorneys with administrative tasks and litigation-related duties.
- Prepare and manage legal documents, including contracts and case files.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and client communications.
- Handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities effectively.
- Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
- Utilize software tools like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for document management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and task completion.
- Provide exceptional client service and maintain a professional demeanor.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a legal administrative position.
- At least 6 months to 1 year of litigation experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
