The Role

As the Legal Admin Officer, you aren't just filing papers you are the central hub for our legal and compliance operations. You will coordinate directly with entity leads to compile documentation, ensure statutory filings are met, and maintain a high standard of accuracy across the board.

Key Responsibilities

  • Central Liaison: Act as the dedicated point of contact between the Director, Legal team, and Compliance Officers in other entities.
  • Documentation Compilation: Organize and manage service level agreements (SLAs), books of account, and company secretarial records.
  • Compliance Coordination: Engage with internal departments and other entities to gather data for financial statements and AML/CFT obligations.
  • Statutory Filings: Assist in the timely preparation of reports for regulatory bodies such as the LFSA, IRB, SOCSO, and EPF.
  • Reporting: Support the Director and Compliance Manager in preparing high-level reports for the Board and addressing audit findings.

What We Are Looking For

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in a legal support or administrative role, specifically within Financial Services.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in Company Secretarial duties and a functional understanding of Company Law.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with LFSA regulations and AML/CFT industry standards.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication skills for cross-entity engagement and a "perfectionist" eye for detail in record-keeping.
