Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Paralegal Assistant
to support our legal team with administrative and organizational tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a high level of discretion, and the ability to manage and organize digital files efficiently. This role will primarily involve digital file management, email coordination with legal associates, and general support in legal processes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation, editing, and formatting of legal documents
Organize and maintain digital case files and records using Google Drive, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
Monitor and manage email communications with internal associates and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner
Conduct basic legal research and compile findings when required
Track deadlines and maintain case calendars
Support the legal team in preparing for meetings, hearings, and filings
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
Assist in drafting standard correspondence and internal memos
Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
Prior experience as a paralegal assistant, legal assistant, or similar role (preferred but not required)
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
High level of professionalism and discretion
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
Experience in remote work environments
Basic understanding of document filing systems and legal research tools
