Immigration law firm seeking candidates to fill a legal secretary position. Duties to include the following:
– Providing administrative support and assistance to assigned staff;
– Corresponding with clients through answering phones, sending emails, and typing letters;
– Conducting initial intake screenings to gather pertinent case information for new clients;
– Scheduling clients for telephonic, zoom, or in-person meetings as needed;
– Preparing legal filings and documents as directed;
– Entering data into case management systems with precision;
– Organizing and maintaining client case files in a clear and orderly manner;
– Performing all duties with care and the understanding of the confidential nature of information accessed/handled.
Skills and Qualifications for the position include the following:
– Highly detail oriented;
– Strong communication skills, both oral and written;
– Proficiency with MS Office Suite;
– Strong organizational skills;
– Ability to self-motivate and work independently;
– Willingness to take and implement feedback;
– Positive mental attitude;
– High School Diploma or GED equivalent minimum education requirements;
– Bilingual Preferred;
– U.S. Work Authorization required.
