Job Overview:
A fast-growing regional Creditors’ Rights law firm is seeking a Remote Associate Attorney to manage legal processes from inception through post-judgment remedies. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with a Virginia license looking to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high-quality legal work, strong communication skills, and a strong sense of ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle a high-volume caseload and provide legal advice on regulatory risks.
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
Appear in court for hearings and legal proceedings as required (travel within Virginia may be needed).
Negotiate with opposing counsel to resolve cases efficiently.
Communicate case updates and outcomes to the Managing Attorney.
Represent the firm’s values of fairness, respect, and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active Virginia Bar License required.
0–3 years of experience in bankruptcy, collections, or civil litigation.
Additional licenses in states such as GA, SC, TN, FL, MD, MI, or OH are a plus.
Strong legal analysis, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Additional Information:
Remote role; candidate must be based in Northern Virginia (Fairfax County area).
Occasional in-state travel for court appearances may be required.
Must be able to manage time and priorities effectively in a deadline-driven setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,980.00 – $90,039.00 per year
