Direct Counsel has partnered with a leading firm who is seeking an associate with 3 to 6 years of experience to join its Real Estate, Land Use & Environmental group. This firm serves clients in all aspects of real estate development, ownership, leasing, financing, and investment. You will have an opportunity to focus on the development, acquisition, and disposition of projects, portfolios, and multistate acquisitions and deal directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders. Lawyers in this group engage in a sophisticated practice with various developers and investors, including commercial and residential developers and clients in the hospitality, industrial, and healthcare industries.

Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of real estate experience, including real estate transactions, leasing and financing;
Land use experience is a plus;
Excellent academic credentials;
Superb research, writing, analytical, and communication skills;
A client-oriented approach to practice;
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including with legal support staff;
Demonstrated interest in giving back to the communities in which we live and work and
License to practice law in Washington State (or the ability to waive into practice in Washington State)
Candidates in the Seattle, WA area or willing to relocate to the region will be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $170,000.00 – $190,000.00 per year
