Lead Appellate Paralegal
We are seeking an experienced Lead Appellate Paralegal to support our attorneys in complex civil litigation and appellate matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes cases in a collaborative, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage case files, deadlines, and calendars for appellate and civil litigation cases.
Draft and assist in preparing motions, briefs, and appellate filings.
Conduct legal and corporate research to support trial and appellate strategies.
Assist attorneys in trial preparation, cite-checking, and document management.
Qualifications
Experience:
5-8 years as a paralegal, with a focus on appellate or trial litigation.
Education:
Paralegal certification required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in Westlaw, Center Base, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strengths:
Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
