Job Purpose:
IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Lead Legal – Li. Roles & Responsibilities
Provide legal support and advice to the Retail Banking Legal department
Review and draft legal documents, contracts, and agreements
Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
Manage and oversee legal disputes and litigation cases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance in all business operations
Develop and implement legal policies and procedures
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to the banking industry
Train and mentor junior legal team members.
Secondary Roles & Responsibilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office and legal research tools.
Experience in managing and mentoring a team is preferred.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of banking laws and regulations.
Education Qualifications
Graduation: Bachelor of Law / Bachelor of Legislative law / Bachelor of Arts (BA)
Post-Graduation: Master of Law
Experience:
5 – 6 Years of relevant experience in banking legal role.
